MVPs (Most Valuable Players — boss-grade monsters) spawn on timers across ROW's world. They drop cards, gear materials, and zeny caches worth hours of normal farming — but only if you fight the right boss at the right level with the right party. New players who wander into max-level MVPs waste time; veterans who optimize spawn schedules fund refine pushes.

Early Game MVPs (Levels 25–45)
Priority: Learning mechanics, not BiS cards. Target nearby field MVPs with simple patterns — dodge ground circles, kill adds before burst phases. Recommended roles: balanced party with one healer, one tank or off-tank, three DPS. Hunter ADL and Mage AoE learn kiting here; see ADL Hunter Build.

Mid Game MVPs (Levels 45–65)
Priority: Cards and materials that survive next gear tier. Focus MVPs dropping weapon crafting mats, race cards (% damage to form), and refine ores. Party composition tightens — Priests are near-mandatory for sustained clears. Knights provide Provoke control; Mages handle adds.

Late Game MVPs (Levels 65+)
Priority: BiS cards, rare crafting cores, guild prestige. Competing for top MVPs demands coordinated schedules, Discord callouts, and build-checked DPS meters. Assassins stack ASPD to cap via ASPD Calculator; Gunslingers deliver burst windows; Priests prevent wipe chains.

Loot Priority — What to Roll For
Tier 1 always roll: Cards affecting your main DPS type, refine protection, unique crafting binds. Tier 2 roll if main filled: Sellable rares for zeny, alt-class cards, costume boxes. Pass: Duplicate cards with no market value, outdated gear tiers below your current weapon level.
Merchants should track auction prices before rolling need — flip via Merchant Build strategies. Keep personal loot spreadsheets; RNG evens out over months, not days.
Scheduling and Etiquette
