Movement and Camera
On PC, movement uses the classic WASD keys or click-to-move with the left mouse button. Hold Right Mouse Button and drag to rotate the camera freely — essential for lining up ranged attacks and reading boss telegraphs. Scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in and out; zooming out helps during MVP hunts when you need to track multiple adds at once.
Double-click the ground to auto-run in that direction. Press Space to jump over small obstacles and terrain gaps. If you feel sluggish in crowded towns, lower your camera zoom and disable nameplate clutter in Settings & Performance.
Combat Hotkeys
Combat revolves around your skill bar. Keys 1 through 0 trigger the first ten skill slots; hold Shift to access the second bar. Left-click performs a basic attack on the targeted enemy. Press Tab to cycle targets, or middle-click a monster to lock on.
Most DPS classes benefit from rebinding high-priority skills closer to WASD. Hunters running ADL builds often place Double Strafe on 1 and buffs on 2–3. Mages should keep elemental bolts on fast keys and AoE spells on Shift combinations. Review your class-specific layout in our All Classes Overview before pushing into harder maps.
Interaction and Inventory
Press F or left-click NPCs to interact. I opens inventory, C opens character stats, and K opens the skill tree. Drag equipment directly onto paper-doll slots or right-click to equip. Hold Ctrl while clicking to split stackable items.
The refine and enchant systems are easier to manage on PC thanks to precise mouse control. Before spending materials, run numbers through our Refine Cost Planner and read Safe Refinement +15 so you understand break points.
Party, Chat, and Shortcuts
Press Enter to open chat. Use /p for party, /g for guild, and /w [name] for whispers. P opens the party window; right-click a player portrait to invite or inspect gear.
Quick travel uses the Kafra and wing systems — see our Free Wing Unlock Guide for early mobility. Map shortcuts: M opens the world map, N toggles the mini-map rotation lock. Rebind anything uncomfortable under Settings → Key Bindings.
